I liked the relaxed atmosphere - the staff were most helpful but not intrusively so - the easy use of the computer to check email at any time was much appreciated. The breakfast was excellent - varied and plentiful and I liked the...

I am aware that a lot of socalled three star hotels in London are not all that they appear to be on the internet, but this is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The carpets were dusty, the room so small I could barely put my luggage on the floor and a shower so small that it was very difficult not to flood the whole floor. There was no safe in the room, not Sateelite tv and worst of all, there was no air conditioning. The electric socket was so close to the built in cupboard that it was impossible to use it to charge my mobile phone. When I moved to another room, the staff was extremely unfriendly and at first refused to move me. At 80 pounds per night I expected more.

Modern decor in the dining area adds a festive touch, with Christmas crackers and cheerful napkins. The breakfast selection might be small, but never left anyone hungry .
Rooms are tighter than a Wookiee's grip, with barely enough space to maneuver. Shower water temperature swings like a Tatooine weather vane. Noise creeps in from outside, especially with early morning traffic rumbling past, and the floors can be a bit gritty underfoot. You'll find odd water leaks haunting your evenings if luck isn't on your side, turning a simple night into an unexpected adventure.

Location was quite central. We managed to walked to Oxford st from the hotel. Staff was very friendly.
The hotel was kind of old, the room was quite small but its definitely do-able.

This was the worst deal I have ever made in my life. I paid 149 pounds per night for a very cheap hotel. room was very small, I can hardly move around. very hot- no air condition. reception staff are rude. No assistance is provided with carrying luggage. my room was in the 4th floor and lift is up to 3rd floor. stairs are narrow.

Only the price, and that only because it was a Booked.net special offer.
The toilel stank - there was some kind of plumbing problam. The roon was small, cramped and badly designed. This is the sort of hotel which gives London a bad reputation, and should be closed down.
